Opening depending on activities programme from 9:00am to 5:00pm (free).

A free private and securised parking is proposed to our clients.
It is recommended to close your vehicle and not to leave any contents of value.

Rooms are available at 2:00 pm. We thank you in advance for being willing to free your room before 11:00 The hotel reserves the right to charge the departures beyond 11:00 am.
Luggage room
You have the possibility calling the Reception to take care of your luggage. We suggest you to keep your personal effects at the luggage room of the hotel reception.
Umbrellas
By rainy weather, we provide you with an umbrella at the reception (on request). This umbrella is also for sale at the shop.
Lost and found
The lost or found objects can be asked at the reception.
Alarm clock
Please let reception know when you want to be woken up.

We attach great importance to hygiene , if you notice any mistake or anomaly please tell us.
All objects and accessories made available in your room remain the property of the hotel.

Air conditioning
You can adjust the temperature of the air conditioner at your convenience. We recommend you to close your plate glass window, your doors and windows to obtain the desired optimal temperature and switch off the air conditioner during your absence.
Daily operation
Our chambermaids insure a housework of your room every morning and a cover service at the beginning of the evening. For any additional demands, do not hesitate to contact the reception.
Linen & bedding
To improve your comfort, please contact the front desk for any request from the cleaning service: extra blankets, pillows and laundry
Swimming towels are povided on your bed. It can be changed on reception (on request).
Linen renewal
To limit the water consumption, the renewal of bath towels is made at your demand) by putting on the ground. Sheets are renewed every 2 days.
Laundry service
The laundry service is available for ironings and washing your clothes. A laundry bag and a list is supplied in your room and will be collected by the housekeeping. Your linen will be handled and will put back to you in room under 24 hours. For any express request, please contact the laundry service.
Welcome gifts
Kits of shaving, sewing and dental are at your disposal at the Conciergerie (7000).
Courtesy tray
You will find in your room all the necessity to prepare tea and coffee, 6 capsules a day are offered.
Bathrobes
We provide you with bathrobes during your stay, these have to stay in the room.
Ironing
A table and an iron are at your disposal in your room.
Mini-Bar
A mini bar is at your disposal in your room. Everything will be automatically charged to your room except for what you take during your last night : please declare all incidentals to reception when you check out. If you want other beverages you can contact the front desk or come to the bar.
Baby
Baby cot and other accessories are available on request at the front desk (upon availability).

For the well-being of our customers, the rooms are strictly non-smoking. An ashtray is given on the table of your terrace.

Meeting rooms
Several spaces are at your disposal for your seminars and will answer perfectly your professional and private demands. Our Meeting rooms are equipped of: writing desk, paperboard, video-projector, microphone, pen and paper. A wide space of 214 m² completely air-conditioned, flexible in two rooms of 144 m 2 and 70 m 2 is dedicated to the seminars, the conferences and the banquets. These spaces can welcome up to 145 people in a conference arrangement. They are endowed with Wi-Fi hotspot offering you the possibility of connecting you to the Internet. The lounge «The Pearl « with a view on the swimming pool and the gardens of the hotel offers you a space of 100 m² dedicated to your seminars and receptions.
Outer spaces
«The Esplanade Sea view», «The Swimming pool Terrace» and «The Gazebo» offer you space you’re your cocktail parties and receptions. These spaces can welcome up to 500 people.

ORCHIDEE SPA
In order to offer you even greater well-being, peace and quiet, the AKOYA hotel has set up a luxury 600m² spa. This space, with its clean, contemporary design, is the only one of its kind on Reunion Island and offers all the expertise and delicious natural essences, who are specialists in beauty rituals from all over the world. The spa is made up of five treatment booths which are like heavenly cocoons, inviting you to put yourselves in the expert hands of our masseurs and beauty professionals for a journey to the edges of traditional Brazilian, Eastern, Balinese, Ayurvedic or Polynesian well-being… A Turkish bath, a sauna and a Jacuzzi can round off a unique sensory experience here in this haven of peace and quiet.

Know that a late arrival pulls a reduction of time of care.
We kindly ask our guests to bring their swimsuits for the hammam and the relaxing area of the Spa.
We recommend you to remove your jewels for the care and to get them in the safe in your room. We disclaim all liability in case of loss or in case of personal effects within the spa.
Locking lockers are provided. These contain, a towel, a short-lived underwear, a pair of flip-flops, a pareo for the ladies and the bathrobe for the men. After use, we thank you for leaving them in the laundry baskets planned for that purpose.
We advise to the gentlemen who booked a facial skincare to shave themselves approximately one hour prematurely to the meeting, for a better quality of care.
The access to the Spa is authorized to every person over 18 years old, on reservation, subject to availability and contraindications concerning the practice of the sauna, the Hammam and the Jacuzzi.
Our space is completely dedicated to serenity and relaxation. Thank you for respecting the intimacy and the relaxation of every guest. Telephones, computing devices are forbidden..

Breakfast is served on an american buffet every day in the restaurant.

Dinner
Come to discover through fresh products our menu established by our Kitchen Chef, our proposed food, is the result of integrated farm management, from a local producers and from a local breeding “Peï”. A subtle marriage of spices mixing tradition and modernity.

Obligatory reservation.
An elegant and relaxed clothing is required for dinner in our restaurant, the port of the tie and the jacket is not compulsory. T-shirt, shorts, sandals, Bermuda shorts or other sports gear are not welcome in the restaurant.
Bar l’Horizon
Ideally situated next to the infinity pool, the bar «The Horizon» welcomes you for privileged moments, around delicious cocktails while contemplating the panorama view which offers the lagoon of “Trou d’Eau” and the Indian Ocean at sunset. Open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Snacking
You can order snacks in our swimming pool terrace from 12:00am to 7:00pm.

SECURITY & HEALTH
Emergency procedures
For your own safety and of all the guests, please: use the ashtray provided to you on the terrace for your cigarettes. Do not smoke in your room. All the rooms are non-smoking. Call the Reception if you detect the beginning of fire at 7000. To evacuate your room follow the closest emergency exit following the present protocol of evacuation in your room, the use of elevators is banned. In case of evacuation, please consult the bulletin board fixed to your room door.
Beach and sea
The lagoon of “Trou d’Eau” is naturally protected by a coral reef and convenient to swimming and for water sports.
A coral reef is alive. She consists of thousand microorganisms and puts centuries to constitute. Avoid walking on the alive coral, because you risk to destroy them. The marine life is very precious for us; we would like you to abstain yourself from touching or from taking corals or other sorts of the marine flora from our lagoons.
The tropical destinations are often subject to the drought and suffer unfortunately from this shortage. The lack of water have a direct impact on the local population and the natural balance of the country, we would be grateful for avoiding any shape of wasting.
Cyclones
In Reunion Island, the cyclonic period extends from December till April. A procedure was planned in the hotel and will be activated in case of threat. Be assured that our team remains at your disposal for any assistance. You will be kept informed about any cyclone being in the surroundings and representing a threat to the territory. Precautionary measures will then be communicated to you by the direction and regular updates will be spread on the system of internal television of the hotel.
